The second resource of the “My Territory” project is the “Accessible Perm” website. It contains information about projects and civil initiatives that exist in Perm and other cities. They are useful for solving similar problems or for getting acquainted with the experience of developing different territories. “Available” Perm” uses the streetjournal.org platform as an accessibility map and supplements it with its own information resource.

The IT resource “Nature of Perm” tells Perm residents about the natural component of the urban environment: animals and plants. Volunteers mark the habitats of animals and plants on the map. If there are problems with them – the resource uses the streetjournal.org service to send messages to the relevant authorities and organizations. And supplements it with its educational information. The

“My Territory” project unites all three information resources working on the basis of the streetjournal.org platform. At the same time, all are directed to enhance the participation of residents in the process of monitoring and managing the territory where they live.

The authors of the “My Territory” project are POO “Good House” and LLC “Territory”. Partners are the Nightingale Garden by the Winka River project and the Obvinskaya Rose Foundation. In 2015, the project was implemented with state support funds allocated as a grant in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation dated January 17, 2014 No. 11-rp and on the basis of a competition held by the ISEPI Foundation.

The open Internet platform “My Territory”   is an effective tool for interaction between city residents and government officials, organizations and services responsible for ensuring order in a certain territory, city, or district.

We all face various socially significant problems around us (an open manhole, a garbage dump, a broken traffic light, a hole in the road, unauthorized parking or a beer stall near a school, etc.), i.e. such problems that concern not only us personally, but also annoy many people. We want the organizations responsible for maintaining order in the relevant territory to respond to our requests promptly, and for the result of their work to satisfy us.

The “My Territory” service allows any resident to report such problems, monitor their status and evaluate the performance of relevant services. Openness, publicity and drawing attention to the problem are the mechanisms that force responsible organizations to act quickly and indeed more responsibly.

For authorities at various levels (municipal, district, regional), organizations and services, the system works as an additional channel for obtaining information directly from residents, without intermediaries and eliminating bureaucratic paper procedures. You cannot imagine a better source of information about the state of the territory than the residents themselves. Also, for government officials, “My Territory” is an effective tool for monitoring the work of the relevant reporting and contracting organizations.

For all users – both residents and organizations and authorities – the service is absolutely free. And working with him is very simple.

– They don’t take out the garbage on time?
– The traffic light is not working?
– A huge hole in the road?

Don’t leave problems unsolved, get involved in early monitoring of problems on the territory, promptly inform city services about what needs to be fixed, set priorities and evaluate the work of services.

Adding a SIGNAL is very simple:
1. Select one of the categories,
2. Attach a photo of the violation or malfunction in the city,
3. Specify the location (address or point on the map),
4. Describe the details and send.

The information is automatically sent to the relevant services of the City Administration. You can monitor the status of your signal directly on the portal.
